For the second iteration of Open Call, 27 early-career NYC artists were selected from 1,500 applications to develop and present new visual and performance work as part of The Shed’s large-scale commissioning program. These works hold a mirror up to this moment, reflecting the heart of a city that has experienced deep loss while retaining its essence. Watch the online press preview for Open Call, available now, and experience in person at The Shed for opening weekend, June 3-6, featuring four performances and the exhibition. Open Callperformances continue Thursday to Saturday, through June 26, and the exhibition is on view Thursday to Sunday, through August 1. All tickets are free.
